Nintendo eShop Japan Charts – Week 40/41, 2017

The weekly charts from the Japanese eShop are here again, with a small surprise compared to the last updates. Time to take a look the rankings for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U for the period between October 12th, 2017 to October 18th, 2017

First of all, the surprise. Starting from this week’s update, now this kind of posts will feature a Top 20 for Nintendo Switch, instead of the Top 10, thanks to Nintendo starting to send it to Switch owners with a Japanese account through the News Channel; no changes for 3DS and Wii U.

Now, speaking of the Switch specific chart: Overcooked! shoots almost at the top right at its debut, with only Minecraft beating it; certainly, a much better first appearance than Lost Sphear, charting at 13th. In the meanwhile, the strange and mysterious Nazotoki Mail keeps on trucking and both Fire Emblem Warriors and FIFA 18 seem ready to leave the Top 20.
