2017 is almost over, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has just been released. Curious to see how it’s doing, and about the state of the eShop rankings as a whole? Well, time again to take a look at the Top 30s in UK, Japan and USA for the period between November 17th to December 1st, 2017, as of 10:54 a.m. GMT
Thanks to its official release, the latest title from Monolith Soft has started to see big increases everywhere: it’s currently 6th in UK, 2nd in Japan and 5th in US. Meanwhile, Worms W.M.D. continues to be a pretty good performer in UK, where it’s 4th, especially when compared to the American ranking (19th).
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 might be the biggest new release this week, but it’s not the only debut (outside of its Pre-purchase phase) in Top 30: both Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2 are charting, especially in UK (respectively 7th and 13th), while there seems to be less enthusiasm in US (18th and 20th), but it could be also a consequence of UK not getting the physical release. Moreover, Uno from Ubisoft has greatily benefitted from the on-going Ubisoft sale in US, where it climbed back up to 10th, but there are other games that are still seeing a positive influence from discounted prices, including The Flame in the Flood, back at 24th in the American chart.
In Japan, alongside the two Revelations games performing more similarly to UK in spite of the presence of the physical release (Revelations 2 is 7th, while the original is 16th), there are other games appearing for the first time in the Top 30: Opus: The day we found Earth at 18th and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi at 21st.
